The Community Prayer Breakfast has been a signature event for the Federation since the very first breakfast was held in 1987. Inspirational speakers, engaging table discussion and beautiful music – but the most memorable moments happen when hundreds of people of all faiths and cultures join together in prayer for critical needs in the Greater Baton Rouge community.

The 2026 prayer breakfast was especially meaningful in celebrating 40 years of the Interfaith Federation’s work in the greater Baton Rouge area. Made possible by an anonymous donor, a video created by Marc Goldstein and produced by Angela deGravelles was the centerpiece presentation at the 2026 breakfast. The video told the story of the Interfaith Federation’s 40 years of work cultivating peace, justice, and unity in the community.
